Video: Custom Function Menu Demo

Here's a 6.5 megabyte Windows Media File (apologies to Mac folks... you can open these file types, right?) which runs through the Custom Function menu selection choices in the Canon XH series camcorders. The Custom Function menu has three separate profiles, which would allow three different people to each have their own desired custom function settings. The different settings let you choose things like which direction the zoom ring turns and things of that nature. If you're familiar with Canon digital SLR cameras such as the EOS 30D and others, you'll notice that this kind of menu layout is exactly like the ones found in their D-SLR product line.

There's no audio, this is a silent video clip. To view it, first download the file to your local drive and then rename the file extension from ".wmx" to ".wmv"
