Video: Custom Displays Menu Demo

Here's a 5.3 megabyte Windows Media File (again, my apologies to Mac folks... you can open these file types, right?) which runs through the Custom Displays menu selection choices in the Canon XH series camcorders. The Custom Displays menu lets you decide what sort of camera information is displayed in the viewfinder and on the LCD screen, such as focus distance on or off, focus distance in meters or feet, and so on. If you're familiar with Canon digital SLR cameras such as the EOS 30D and others, you'll notice that the menu layout is exactly like the one found in their D-SLR product line.

There's no audio, this is a silent video clip. To view it, first download the file to your local drive and then rename the file extension from ".wmx" to ".wmv"

Nevermind....I rebooted and now it's working. Stinking Windows!

Actually I have newer, better versions of these clips... this one and the custom functions menu... when I return home tomorrow night I'll get them posted.

Thanks for that. No problem with .wmv files on Macs here.
