Due In The UK Next Week

Apparently the UK shipment is due at Canon on Wednesday 29th Nov, and arriving with dealers by Friday.

Just one more week to wait until I get my sticky little mits on one!

Not soon enough!

As a camerashop worker, I has a call from my Canon UK rep who said 'end of the month' too. There should be enough to cover the backorders placed (including MINE!) so just hang on in there......
Oliver.
(PS anyone want to buy a XL2 + 3x, 16x, B&W finder etc?)

It's Here In The Uk!

Got it! It is sitting here looking very pretty on the desk.
Only a month later than advertised but hey, hopefully worth the wait.
Regards,

Yep, the canons are due in about the same time as the Sony V1s. While I have pre-ordered the V1 the dealer I spoke to suggested I should go and check them both out together.

That I shall!!

Wow

I hope it will be here in the Netherlands too tomorrow. I mean... UK-NL, it's so close to each other. I'll just leave work early to travel to the nearest shop that sells the A1, which is about an hour drive. Man, I really want to get my hands on it.

Congrats Oliver!

I also have a message left on my machine telling me the dealers have my camera waiting. ARGH! I'm filming all day tomorrow, and I want to play with it NOW!

Heh! Heh! Heh!

oh noes!

:( I just called the store, but they still didn't get the camera and still don't know when to expect it. This is driving me nuts! :)
