Look at the picture more closely, Stephen. Like most quick release plates that are comparable to the Gitzo quality and price range, it comes with one 1/4" screw and one 3/8" screw. Leave the one that you need on the plate... remove the other one and put it away somewhere. On some plates and heads there's a little threaded space where you can store whichever one you're not using.

Oops, you're right. Do you recommend I get the TA-100 for the XH-A1?

I had that fluid head awhile back and I think one of the screws was a 1/4" while the other was a 3/8".

Oops...I didn't see Chris's post. I don't think that head had a place to store the other screw.
