Looking for G1/A1 indoor footage

As I continue to research possibly my next camera, I've seen several very lovely examples of night footage (thanks Spencer/Times Square and Barlow/Faces In The Crowd)

The A1 looked great outside during the evening in a well lit area, and equally nice during the daytime.

But I haven't seen any .mov of the A1 strutting its stuff indoors.

Anyone care to post G1/A1 footage of anything indoors-from the cat moving across the living room to a talking head to a child playing?

I'm just trying to research how I would need to use this camera.

Thanks in advance to any and all who care to share.

Be well

Rob

Highly compressed and less than 1/4 sized- but might give you an impression-

Lights are a few overhead flourescent lamps and a strong 300 watt work lamp clamped to my door- not a very bright setup but adequate to get the job done.
30F original mode and likely -3 or 0 db gain...(not sure on the gain setting)

~~ I also used a circular polarizer which cut down some of the light but removed the glare from the surface, necessary evil when taping reflective surfaces ~~

I just posted some of a band in a Coffee Shop at night. See http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?t=80673

steve-

thanks for the posting.

a nice image of a nice image. u should be pleased.

any other tweakings of the menu? any color tweaks?

i've read dozens of posts about the colors coming from the a1. some complain that the colors are dull, that they are flat. others suggest tweaking is necessary to pull out what has been designed into the camera's capabilities.

for me, i like the colors produced by the a1. i think way too much of the video we see has oversaturated colors. if the colors are balanced well against each other, viewers don't need a "popping" red to distinguish it from an orange or yellow or other "hot" color. also with the more subdued colors there is much less flaring and smearing whether in hd or sd.

once again, thanks for sharing.

steve-

sorry but i'm only set-up to screen .mov.

i'll try to get onto another system and take a look at your post.

w/o me seeing your footage, perhaps u can describe what impression the a1 left with u?

again, thanks for sharing.

be well

Rob, I'm not an expert but I am impressed with this camera. The light sensitivity spec is the same as the GL2 (which is the camera I'm most familar with) but the XH A1 is in a different class. Much better image quality in low-light than I expected. Good manual controls on the camera body. Lots of programable image settings and supports multiple setting configurations. It even has a great community on this forum!

[Steve, great job on vampgirl -- the airbrush work and the video.]
