Hi All,
Is it possible for anyone to post their 60i down convereted to 24F? I like to see how it looks?

Thanks
Matthew

This was filmed in HDV 60i but deinterlaced and converted into 720P (24FPS). It probably could have been done better though, Im still learning.

Just to clarify, you're looking for 60i that has been post processed to 24P using software, right? Not 24F aquired footage from the XH A1?

That's right phillip.

I have a some 60i SD interview footage I dropped into a 24P HDV timeline, and FCP converts it automatically. You have to resize it using the motion tool. For fairly static things like interviews, it looks OK, but if there's lots of horizontal motion, you'll get the funky pulldown motion look. You might want to look at something like Nattress, DVFilmmaker or Magic Bullet for a better quality job.

i just dropped a 60i into my 24P hdv timeline, worked great! have to render and de-interlace for it to look good, but a fast motion running static shot looked great!

Wow - that looks quite good. What software are you using? Anyone using Vegas 7 with their A1?
