A1 & filters...

Does the A1 have threads to screw on protective filters? For some reason I thought I saw somewhere that people were having to rig filters on it.

thanks

Yes, 72mm. I keep a UV on mine.

good, I'm finally about to buy my A1 from Scott at TW Texas (he's been wonderful guys, I highly recommend them). And I'm getting the canon kit that comes with 3 filters, just wanted to make sure that they can screw right on :)

I always keep a UV on mine mostly for protective reasons. Just a habit I picked up from my Still Photo days.

I also bought the Canon filters from Scott at Tapeworks Texas. I give Scott 2 thumbs up. Highly recommended.
