Another new A1 owner
 

Hi Folks:

I've been a lurker here on DVi for several weeks, but have had little to contribute yet. However, I'm finally investing in some good gear and just ordered an XH-A1 from Brian at Zotz Digital. I can't wait until it arrives and I start learning the ins and outs of this camera.

I want to thank those that have freely published their thoughts and insights here. It certainly helped me choose this camera, and go into it with my "eyes wide open."

I'll primarily use it for documentary-style work and interviews, but I've also been involved in a few dramatic shorts for my church that I shot with their ENG-style DV cameras. I've only been a paid "semi-pro" for a few projects, but hope that this investment will allow me to mature my skills and marketability.

I plan on becoming active in this community, and hopefully contribute something meaningful here.
