Only the attached microphone?
 
How can I only get sound of the attached microphone? I attached the Audio Technica AT 897, but it seems to me the standard mic on the A1 is also recording something. How can I put that off?

sorry tested it a little better, but my scratchin on the 'internal' mic was heard by the external that's why I went confused. With XLR turned on the 'internal' mic shuts off.

Tonight I'm gonna look at the footgae i shot at the Clubmeeting for hunting digs. I used the mic for the first time.
