correcting CA by dewarping red/green?
 
anyone have any success correcting chromatic abberation on wide shots by dewarping the red and green channels separately?

I'd actually presented this idea to a friend of mine who writes quicktime plugins. Something with a pulldown menu of camera brands and then a slider for focal length...he never got around to it.

i think you can do this pretty easily in sony vegas. just never got around to trying it.
