FCE Doesn't recognize my A1
 

Hi Guys,

I'm trying to get FCE to recognize my A1 and it's not happening. The manual tells me to go into the menu and set playback std to hdv and the hd down converter to off, but both these are grayed out and I can't set them to anything. What am I missing here?

A previous post answered this question for me.
You must have the camera disconnected from firewire to switch the playback standerd.
Kinda strange but that's the way it works.
