Looking for Website With A1 and HV20 footage

I've searched the forums, but I can't find this one website I visited before where it had different sample shots from the A1, HV20 and others. It was European and one of the shots was of a road, which a euro-style delivery van drives through. Anyone have a link?

Thanks

I have some if i could get the camera to import the footage! Took my A1 across the street to a store with an HV20 and shot similiar footage in 60i and 24F. HV20 has less shadow detail but its hard to make an exact comparison since the HV20 settings are all automatic, including gain.

Why?

I mean, to what end?

The video you download (if you find it) is down sampled HDV and as such, useless for comparison with, er, anything.

Without knowing what was done to it, how etc, what can you learn from it? Nothing.

If you have a question, ask. If all you want is a download, why DVinfo?

Cheers,

Chris.

I know Canon.com has a little sister site thats just for all their HD camcorders. Its pretty nice. I know you can download video of the A1 and the HV10, possibly the HV20 I'll see if I can dig it up.

Alrighty I just found it. Click on this link and it will bring you to the Canon websitte. Then click the picture above all the camcorder pictures that says "EXPLORE" with a few camcorders on the picture. It should bring you to a flash website with video samples of all their camcorders.

I purchased the HV20 a few weeks after the XH-A1 to use as a B-roll for weddings and as a deck. Using the little 20 outside in nice daylight the camera is VERY good. It is hard to tell the 2 apart. 24p looks great too. Bring it inside and turn the lights down and that is where all hell breaks loose. It isn't BAD but is certainly no A1. Not even close. That one chip needs a lot of light. I mean look at the difference in Lens size as well. It is a great little camera though. It also plays back your 24F footage from the A1 as well. It's as if they know you are going to buy it as a second camera to your A1. I am not sure what you are going to use it for but it is not bad for the money. The audio is not that bad either.

This probably isn't what you're after, but has footage from both cameras. HV20 footage actually looks slightly better.
