slow (record) button response?
Is it just me, or does anyone else think that the record button when pressed takes longer than the likes of Sony?!!
Might seem like a strange thing to mention, but i take a lot of 3-5 second shots when shooting a wedding, and i've found that there's sometimes a bit of a delayed response in hitting the record button and stopping it. I guess i've been used to my old Sony having a quicker response; so it has left me with a lot of shorter clips than i anticipated (up to a second shorter at times). In future i will need to allow for this, but sometimes when filming weddings it's tricky to get that extra second out of filming people without them knowing, before they turn round and look at you - equally, when somone does know you're filming them and poses for the camera, that extra second or two can seem like a minute!!! |
You left the camera on idle to long, it when into save heads mode, it is instant for me when it is not in that mode.

is there any way you can switch that off?

Hi Martin,
One thing you can do is make the save heads mode a custom key setting...then if you know you'll be idle for a bit, you can hit that key and vise versa of course, hit the key to bring the heads online. That way you won't be surprised when it has gone into that mode on it's own. Just a thought. David |
