Matching the A1 with a PD150

Aside from the obvious of shooting 4:3, 60i does anyone have some input on matching these 2 cameras?

Thanks

get 2 decent production monitors-set them to bars, plug the 2 cams in and go from there. There are no cookie cutter settings that I've heard of to match those 2 cams so monitors are the best way to good AFAIK.

That would be the way to go alright, but unfortunately it won't be possible

Well if you can't use production monitors then how about a couple of TVs-again set to bars and then adjust the cams. At least it would be close.
Hopefully.

My standard reply.... The only way to fully match two different cameras is to Chart both cameras and use a waveform monitor and a vector scope!

By using two monitors to try and eyeball the cameras,
you could tweak for days and still not get them to match.

I think you might want to set the pd150 to fake 16/9 -- it will actually be fairly decent, and it plays to the A1's strength too

Let me know if you are successful. I may need to match my A1 to a VX2100 for a ballet shoot.
