Shooting for web content.

I would like to know what is the best setting for the camera when shooting internet content. I would also like to know what make the best compression as for as streaming HD high medium and low content. I have been experimenting with premeire quite a bit today however I think some of you may be able to enlighten me and save me some time. I would like to know what settings for WMV and MOV formats. Premeire has a very limited amount of presets for quicktime. I want to be able to export from the timeline. I tried to use Vegas with the new version but it locked my machine up while building peaks.

Until now I always did all my recording in HD and after that Premiere offers enough settings to transform it in any format you want.
Going down in Quality is pretty easy. Going up is much harder to do.

Try this:

Import a file or Capture one.
Drag a piece of the material to the timeline.
Go to File - Export - Adobe Media Encoder

From top to bottom:

Format: Quicktime
Range: Entire Sequence
Preset: Custom

Video: H.264 Encoder
Width: 720
Height: 406
Framerate: 25 or 29.97
Progressive
Square Pixels

Set high bitrate settings (100.000.00)

Audio: Apple Lossless, Stereo 32 khz

Click on OK and give the name of the file. Let it render.

From there on you can make any size or quality by changing the settings.
You can go from very small to HD (1920x1080)

It's just what you want and you can do the same with WMV.
