Best TV for A1 Viewing?

Just checking into HD TVs to view my new A1 footage on. From a resolution (best review monitor) standpoint during editing, is it better to go with an 1080p or 768 line TV? At first I thought this was a straightforward decision, but when capturing 1080i footage with the A1 you are not using the same number of lines as a 1080p capture. Right?

Next question. What about when you want to review your 30f or 24f footage? Which way should you go?
