EF-S on XL2

Hey guys…
I don’t know if you already know this but if not… I got my EF adapter 2 weeks ago and played around with some different lenses. I also did some research about different Canon lenses. When I found the upcoming FE-S 55-250mm IS I thought “nice lens… and with IS”, but then I realized that I missed the S in EF-S. BUT I then come up with one idea, if you put the EF12 (or 25) II on the EF adapter, you can use ALL EF lenses, even the EF-S!
If anyone already tried this please let me know, if not, some thing to try out. I’m waiting for the 55-250 IS, I thing it going to be a killer.

Cheers
Markus Nord

EF-S lenses are *not* compatible with the EF adapter, sorry.

I know... but if you put the EF12 II or EF25 II on the EF adapter and then you can fit the EF-S lenses on.

Those are extension tubes -- you didn't make that clear in your earlier post. Don't know how those will affect focusing, looking forward to a first-hand report from someone who tries this.

Crap!
I just came back from my local photo shop and played around with EF25 II + EF-S 18-55. I don’t work. The focus spot is “moved” behind the sensor so you can not focus at al.
Anyway… It was a good idea, I’ll keep on trying… I got to be a way how to fit the EF-S on.
