Century Optics .6x possibly harm my lens..?

I just read the "Tips and Tricks" page which states that we shouldn't mount a Century Optics WA Adapter on the 20x lens since it will make contact with the back element of the adapter. Below this warning is an update (from Nov. 2004) that Century Optics has introduced a new .7x that will now work on the 20x.

I got a Century .6x (MK2 C75267) on my 20x -- can also the .6x adapter harm the glass?

The warning -- now outdated -- was only for very early versions of the 0.7x WA adapter.

Chris is correct that this was an old warning for earlier versions of our .6x adapter. I ran your serial number and it is fine for your 20x lens. You can also have this lens converted to the latest mount if you buy an XH-A1 or XL-H1.

Ryan, thank you very much -- that's a relief to know, I'm gonna sleep well tonight ;^)
