XL2 specs video
 

Does anyone knw when the XL2 spec video is gonna be on canon.com?

They're showing some beautiful tests at DV Expo. A bunch of us are trying to convince them to put it on DVD and make it available to the masses.

Chris, I saw those XL2 tests at DV Expo and they were indeed beautiful. The 24p footage looked awesome. I checked out the XL2 and everything about it looked great except for the flip-up 2" LCD screen. I would prefer something a bit larger. I fell in love with the cam and wished I could have taken one home with me yesterday. My partner and I will definitely be buying one.

I wanted to take one home too, James! It's highly doubtful Canon USA will offer downloadable video, but we're really pushing 'em to make the DVD available to anyone who asks for it.

I really really want one, too. When it comes out I'm gonna rent it for weekend.
