Nice picture (color and so), bud the compression is to heavy for demonstrating image quality.

Kann you post the original DV File?

PS: Was the clip shot with 24p? I think so because the mov ist with 24 frames per second.

Daniel

BTW, I got XL2 clips too but I cant send them to Chris because I got AOL and they wont let me send files over 15 megs

Rich Lee July 18th, 2004 11:51 AM

mark, can you ftp the video to him?

Chris Hurd July 18th, 2004 02:01 PM

I'll download it myself, assuming it's okay with the person who owns the clip. Dana, would you mind if I hosted this file also? It would take some strain off of your server. I'd like to run the still image as well if that's okay.

Dana Scott July 18th, 2004 07:48 PM

Sure Chris, go right ahead.

Chris Hurd July 18th, 2004 11:04 PM

Thanks, I'll have 'em on the site sometime tomorrow.

I can never view those quicktime movies and my player says that there's no downloads nessasary to view them.

Those clips look fantastic

It did look good, but I always associate that braod orange halogen light with video soap operas look. I find DV works much better in daylight. Is that just me?
