on a related note, because the price is so high are these cams (besides the complex CCD&instructional electronics boards) "hand made" one @a time?

Barry,
can you refer me to your reputable West Coast Dealer so that I may contact them and see what price I can get?

Thanks,
Marty

CDW's price for the XL2 is actually $4999, same as everybody else.

The large west coast dealer that Barry is reffering to, if it's the one I'm thinking of, we're working on getting them onboard with us as a DV Info Net sponsor. If it's another dealer I'm thinking of, then, well, we're not.

It won't be any less expensive than $4999, folks, and it'll be hard to find at first. Be sure to confirm the actual shipping date. As always, I like to have the last word on the "where to buy" thing, so once again please consider going through our DV Info Net Sponsors as they are fully authorized dealers and are the best in the business. Thanks,
