Optex 0.7x Adapter - Sorry if this has been covered before

Hi dudes, once again!

I have gotten into a posting frenzy! I have so many questions running around in my mind

However, let me start witha slushy comment! Isnt it amazing how the internet has allowed us to talk together from all corners of the globe! - I think it is just incredible, a revolution - information and free speech without borders or bounderies!

Anyway back to my post - and I'm sorry if someone has commented about this before, but I couldn't find a post directly related to my model

I have an XL1s - soon to get an XL2.

I also have an Optex 0.7x Wide angle clamp on adapter for my XL1s - will this work with the XL2? If not why not, is the lens for the XL2 physically too big in diameter for the Optex 0.7x adapter to fit around it?

Regards
Lawrence
