XL2 Demo in Chicago on Friday 24 Sept.

Kinda late notice, but maybe there'll be more of these coming up:

"As a valued customer, Calumet Photographic cordially invites you to attend a special premiere event featuring one of the most eagerly anticipated digital camcorders ever, the Canon XL2. By attending this "invitation only" event you will be one of the first video professionals to experience what makes this camcorder so revolutionary. Our event includes a 90 minute technical presentation plus the chance for a "hands on" review of the XL2 and a wide variety of optional accessories. A limited quantity of the XL2 will be available to purchase on site. You won't want to miss it! But hurry and register to guarantee your admission because seating is limited."

September 24, 2004, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Calumet Photographic
1111 North Cherry Ave.
Chicago, IL 60622

Online registration is free.

It was a great experience, I had to take a personal day at work to attend but it was great. It was an important part of my decision to finally go with the XL2.
