What is the Best way to Capture Time Lapse?

I would like know what the best way is to capture a time lapse with the XL2 without spending money on any extra pieces of kit. I am into wildlife videography so that's what the time lapse will be of.

Thanks for your help,

Caleb

Hi Caleb,

Look at page 79 of the XL2 manual. The interval time should work.
What I sometimes do is just record for a full hour or so and edit out
what I don't need.

Caleb,

you can also use scenalyzer in a laptop and have awesome control over your time lapse and capture to the hard drive.

Scenalyzer is an economical capture program for dv.
