Cracked Viewfinder
 

I have a very small crack on my xl2's viewfinder not on the lcd screen, but where the viewfinder swivels. Is this a common thing? What would it cost to fix?

I figured superglue would be the easy fix, but I may sell her anyway and just get an xha1 for the HD and smaller size.

is the crack on the outside of the view finder? if so, i would apply "Impact-Tough " Gorilla Super Glue with a toothpick and hold the pieces together firmly until it polymerizes. its fairly thick so it gives good work time and uses a rubber additive that makes it far less brittle than regular ca.

mine broke at the swivel internally from being placed in a bag w/o first removing the eyepiece. i fixed this using a thin band of steel covered in heatshrink. i did this some time ago so i have forgotten the details of the mod, but it has held up fine so far. i try to look for pictures if need be. cheers!
