Weird lines across my footage
 

while scrubbing through some footage today, i noticed weird lines running all the way across my footage every few frames, they're not too bad unless you actuall stop on the frame....playing at normal speed u dont even notice them but why is that happening? im shooting at 24p 2:3:3:2

Hi Marlon. Are you talking about scrubbing in the camera or in an NLE?

I think it is pretty normal to see lines on the video when you are shuttling a DV tape back and forward. As long as the picture is clean during normal play there is nothing to worry about.

If you are seeing this is in an NLE then maybe you could provide some more info (like what NLE and what project settings). I work in PAL so probably won't be able to help much, but I'm sure there are others on the forum who can.
