From 1 to 2

Having had the XL1 for 5 years I'm wondering if the XL2 is much more, shall we say, complicated. I got alot out of "1" but I'm not technically inclined so I'd rather not end up in over my head. I know there are simpler cameras for us simpler minds but the XL series has always appealed to me.

Cheers,

The XL2 isn't much more complicated than the XL1. It has so many new and useful features, so if you're thinking about it, go for it. When I first used the XL2 after being an XL1 user, I figured it out very quickly and I loved having all those new things to play with like different frame rates, XLR inputs, a display the displays 16:9 properly and more zoom range.
