Is there any place where I can purchase a rear lens cap for XL series lenses?

Sure, dial 1-800-OKCANON and ask for parts department. I have ordered many small parts from them. It will help if you have a part number available when you call.

I need a front lens cap and a body cap, any idea of a rough cost for these parts and are they suppliable in the UK as well ?
