Broken headphone input - HELP!

Hi there,

I just broke my headphone input in my XL2.
Is there any way to monitor the sound whitout the headphone input?

thank for any help!

You could hook up a stereo amplifier to the RCA Audio output and then use headphones on the amplifier. I'm afraid that's your only choice at the moment. If you are running 4 channel sound, you would have to use a small 4 channel powered mixer and plug your headphones into it.

I wouldnn't try to monitor from firewire via a computer because there is generally a slight delay.

Yup! Just go from the red and white audio outs and hook into head phones. They even make headphones with RCA outs.

Are you sure it's busted? I thought mine was, but the input was just filthy (from using different head phones all the time). Get some rubbing algohol and a tooth pic with som kleenex and try cleansing the inside.

Worked for me.
