Workflow for SD output
 

So I´m picking up my new XL H1 tomorrow and I´m starting shooting on Tuesday.
I have used the camera before so that´s fine, but I´m still uncertain of what mode to shoot this docu.

Therefore I have some questions
It will be editied on Avid, but not my me.

1. Is 25f as troublesome as 24f seems to be in post?

2. I´m thinking of shooting 1080i, it´s for broadcast TV and it will be shot in HDV and delivered in SD. What is the best way to go? Edit HDV or downconvert out of camera?

2b If it´s editing HDV, do one just capture using firewire or is it any advantage to use the HD-SDI out?

3. Can any Sony HDV deck play back 1080i or do I have to use the camera? (If so I´ll get a HV20 for that I think)
