Fu-1000 monochrome viewfinder/xl h1? at DVinfo.net

I got the fu-1000 for my xl2, and was wondering if it can be used with the xl h1. If I move up to the xl h1, at least i'd already have a great viewfinder ( if it can be used).

I believe you can use it as it is listed and pictured in the system diagram.

I've heard that even Varicam can be tricky to eyeball focus in the VF. Not sure that the FU-1000 will be enough, but I'd sure like to try one myself.
