If you know who Scott Billups is ( PIXELMONGER.COM ) , and there is no reason why some of you shouldn't, then you will find this very interesting about what he said on the Cinematography board list about the Canon XLH1 he is testing. Scott is one smart individual and knows his $%^#.....

I don't believe most here could disagree with Scott and his experience....

Don't you think the P+S is just making the image softer like all 35mm adapters, not just because cine lenses arent as sharp as HD lenses? I'd like to see a cine lens directly mounted onto an XLH1, without the P+S vs. one with an HD lens.

1/3 imager specs are very tight. Cine lenses are made for a much larger target zone. Regardless; Scott Billups remarks about the H1 ( like the 50,000 dollar comment says a lot.
