New Sony HDV Decks

Sony has released their new HVR's, the 15 and the 25. Does anyone know if they are compatible with 24F tapes?

The new Sony M15 and M25 do NOT support Canon's Frame mode, sorry.

They should play 50i tapes just fine though.

Bunk. I swear XLH1 24F shooters are the red-headed stepchildren of the HDV world. Has anyone heard of a deck on the horizon that will support Canon 24F?

If there were any such rumor that had the slightest substantiation, it would have already been plastered all over this forum.

I can *practically* guarantee that since the 50hz models don't play 25F, the 60hz models won't play 30F or 24F either. Simply put, if the M15 and M25 could handle Canon's Frame mode, we would have heard about it by now.
