Wireless Receiver Bracket for H1?

I have two wireless receivers that I want to use with my Canon H1. I use the standard battery that came with the H1, as it is plenty for my needs. What bracket would you recommend for my two receivers? One is a Sony EW500, the other is a Samson M32.

Look into this one, Bob... it'll work with the XL H1.

I velcro'd my Senn G2 receiver on the inside of my Anton Bauer mounting plate( on my XL2).But for this you'd need to be using an AB set up.

With the supplied adapter plate mounted on the back of the H1 you can put a large piece of velcro on the front and another on the back and carry two receivers - I actually prefer using velcro because the units are light enough and the velcro attachment provides a spongy mount that acts like a shock absorber. It's also easy to change receiver batteries -

Plus it's just a drive to the local hardware store, about a buck for velcro, and you're ready to go.

Just to clarify, what do you guys mean with Velcro?

Steve Rosen June 18th, 2006 01:09 PM

Well, Vincent, I assume that it is available in bulk in the Netherlands... But it's the hook and eye stuff that holds parkas closed...

There is a self adhesive Velcro that comes in rolls of various widths - I use the 2" - and you can purchase it by the inch length at almost any hardware or fabric store... Stick the hook side (prickly) to the bracket and the eye side (soft, like carpet) to one surface of the receiver...

Ah, sorry for the ignorant question... ;-)
