60i or 24f? For fast movements?

Not trying to start an argument but I am curious what most of you prefer shooting fast action with. Action as defined by shooting fast moving animals from a fast moving vehicle. Or at the least a fast pan from a stable platform?

60i or 2f for fast movement.

Not 24f. Any fast movement, particularly at right angles to the camera, will become very jittery. Like on film, the 'slow' frame rate means that it cannot 'keep up with' (in layman's speak) the movement. My advice would be to shoot at 60i then grade in post if you want a de-interlaced, 'film' look.
All the best.
Alistair
