Lenmar 6 hour batteries for XL1s for $100 - Any good?

Onecall.com advertises a battery for the XL1s (Lenmar LIC941) made by Lenmar that is supposed to last 6 hours. Has anyone tried this battery yet or heard if it is any good? I need a long lasting battery and this sounds good?

Any thoughts?

Yes, and it works amazingly. You keep waiting for the warning, and there's always juice left. I used one charge over 2 days and three tapes before I had to swap.

Absolutely!! I bought two from B&H when I got my camera. I can usually get three one hour tapes easily out of each battery and still have juice left. Keeping in mind that I turn the camera off when I am not actually taping.

I can vouch for that. I have a Lenmar LIC941 which I bought from my sponsor Pro-Tape at www.pro-tape.com -- so far it has easily outlasted my other two high-capacity batteries, a Canon BP941 and a Canon BP945. The Lenmar simply refuses to die. I usually give up before it does.

Great - Thanks for everything.

This is interesting... especially since the canon
batteries are very expensive. I have some more
questions though:

- does battery indication on the camera
still work? (Ie how full or empty the battery is)?
- can I use two of these on the dual battery
holder?
- how long is the charging time on these things?

Thanks!

Rob;

- does battery indication on the camera
still work? (Ie how full or empty the battery is)? YES

- can I use two of these on the dual battery holder? YES

- how long is the charging time on these things? Two to three hours but I usually let them charge over night.
