VCR to XL1s
 

Can anyone tell me how to record some old VHS tapes I have from my VCR to my XL1s. Then I can just capture the footage to my computer like normal.

I know I can use my XL1s as a digital converter and go from the VCR to the camera and then from the camera firewire to my laptop and capture that way but I might not be able to do that because I might not have a laptop or computer at the time.

The way I have it hooked up now is:
VCR output to XL1s input on the back and I have the camera on VCR. I can see the footage playing on the xl1s viewfinder but how do I record it?

What next?

got it....I just had to hit PLAY....
