We need a little more information in order to help you. Is this after you capture it to your NLE or just during playback? Are you using the on-camera mic or have you hooked up another mic via xlr?

Two popular professional audio editing programs are:
Sound Forge
Adobe Audition (formerly Cool Edit pro)

You may also be albe to fix the problem within your NLE. Once you have captured your file onto your computer, check the audio filters. In Final Cut, you may be able to use the Low Pass filter or the equalizer. Also, check your camera settings. Good luck.

What was the source of the audio? It did not appear to be from the XL1 in that it was 44.1 kHz sample rate. Looking at frequency spectrum of the file, it has nearly constant amplitude up to about 12 kHz, ususual for live recordings.
