Chris, where are the sponsor links?

I have read in several threads about your sponsors, but I have a hard time finding links to them. Specifically this time, Pro-Tape.

Am I missing something?

Could it indicate that a central "Sponsor Links" page might be in order?

Hi Jeff,

The site's sponsors are actually listed on a page in the Watchdog section of this site. Go to http://www.dvinfo.net/ then click on the "Sponsors" link located on the left-side menu. Voila!

Aha!

Just a suggestion. I came through the Watchdog Page. Chris, you might want to throw a sponsor link on there, too, or a link to the DVinfo homepage. This is the first I have seen of the DVinfo homepage.

Thanks guys.

Thanks Jeff, I do have some reconstruction in the works and will incorporate this change.

I have also noticed that when it comes to separating me and my money, Ken Tanaka always seems to be at the forefront. He always has the answer that makes me reach for my wallet...Firewire Direct, Lowel lights, and now Lenmar batteries from Pro Tape.

Someday, Ken, I might even get to shoot some video!

Just kidding. My project is coming together nicely, and I owe much to you guys here. Tomorrow, I am going to use my camera for a personal event. If the tape comes out (my wife is shooting it), I will use it as an editing exercise and post my efforts for critique.

If it's any consolation, Jeff, I generally don't recommend gear that I've not purchased myself. It's comforting for me to share the experience of impoverishment with others. <g>

I hope your FireWire Direct drive is treating you well. Mine are still in top form. BTW, if you're looking for the best price/performance value in an ultra-portable, bus-powered FireWire drive take a look at www.wiebetech.com. Their MicroGB drives are excellent...and they've just reduced the prices significantly.
