power will not turn on

I have had this problem once before about a year ago and the camera seemed to have fixed it's self; the power will not turn on. I have changed batteries and have used the 110 adapter and still the power will not come on. I have cleaned the terminals, etc.. OF COURSE I HAVE A WEDDING TO SHOOT IN 4 1/5 HOURS. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Go rent one for the day and worry about it after the shoot!!

If you're using the MA-1oo, it may be the part of the power connection which goes into the side of the camera OR where the battery goes. An associate of mine had a similar problem. If you constantly take the battery or connector off the camera which is suggested, it seems to become "a loose fit". If you want to check it out put connector or battery on, turn camera on and wiggle it. If you see the power, red light, go on and off thats what it is. He used match books to shim it tight.

I'm sure you are already gone. However, you have one of two problems...either the charger or the cam.

If you can, check the voltage on the battery itself and the a/c adapter. Let's hope that is it and not the cam.

If its the cam, get a magnifying glass and check the battery terminals.

Still looks good (bad news)? Well let's try the other thing that sometimes works. Remove the button cell from the cam's handle, remove the main battery, turn on the cam for overnight and then try again. If it works after that, you've got some kind of flakey processor fault.
