xl1solutions? at DVinfo.net

Hi, does anbody know anything about www.xl1solutions.com? I came accross an adapter on ebay for $399. This a quote from their website.

"With this adaptor the Canon XL1/XL1s camcorder is able to accept Arriflex style PL mount 35mm, 16mm, and super 16mm lenses. This is a new product that allows the digital film maker to use a variety of PL mounted film lenses. Such as Cooke, Angenieux, Schneider, and more. "

Has anyone tried this adaptor out? I thought only the P+S mini 35 could do this. Sorry, if this is a really stupid question or has been covered before, as i'm not experienced in lens issues.
