field mixers
by the way. If you are after a good little cheap field mixer, with phantom power, see the Berringer website.
Mine only cost me around US$250 new. Excellent results running my bayer-dynamic condenser shotgun and lapel mics. if you need the model no. post back...i dont have it here right this minute |
Hi Murray,
I think you're referring to the German audio company Behringer http://www.behringer.com/03_behringe...mid=3&lang=eng I was unaware they made field mixers. I knew they made DJ mixers and other components for the audio industry, so the model number might come in handy. Jeff |
looks like it could come in handy.

I have the Behringer Eurorack MXB1002 field mixer.
It is a 10 channel mixer that can use batteries when in the field. The construction is really solid. All metal casing. I got it for $130. |
yes. that seems to be the same as mine.
Phantom power facility is good, quality is great, i had a canvas "pouch" made so it was weatherresistant and still accessible, if anyone is interested, i could arrange a pic i bought the mixer in australia for $US 250. sounds like you got a better deal. |
Looking around at old posts on this subject, and I've considered this as a cheap field mixer as well.
Could anyone who uses the Behringer comment on battery life in the field? Does it indicate when the batteries are dying, if it's a short (less than 6 hour) lifespan? |
