Did anyone see the XL1 on tonights episode of Law & Order?

no, but I was at the theatre and saw a couple in one of the previews. I don't remember what movie the preview was for but at one point a videographer trips over a fire hydrant and falls XL1 first into the road with a loud crunch the lens is destroyed. That's when I cried.

Haw. Can you imagine how the Canon rep that got that movie placement felt when he discovered that their product was destroyed as a sight gag?

It is also used in the movie Swordfish, with a massive lens on but with out a viewfinder (how strange). Its out in the UK in a couple of weeks

Austin Powers

It's in the second Austin Powers movie when he does the photo shoot near the beginning. You don't get a great view of it...but it's the Xl-1 the guy in the background is using.
