Boompole for ME66

There any good ones available? And are they cheap?
I don't want to be spending over a $100 on just a stick if you know what I mean.

Also, what is the K6? just a power supply for the ME66? How would this work in relation to having the mic at the end of a boompole?

Thanks

Usually you'll want the lightest material for a boom pole available. Usually the lighter it is the more expensive it can become. Aluminium is one and if you can get carbon fiber than that is a good choice too. You'll also want some sort of shock mount on it too.
I just ordered one of these:

I don't think it's telescoping but that doesn't matter to me. I'm more concerned with the light weight According to the website it only weighs 1.5 lbs.

I use an aluminum painter's pole with a bolt epoxied at one end where I can screw in the shock mount. Light strong and it cost me $6.

$6 sounds good. How much are the shock mounts?

Shockmounts run from about $30 on up, though I know one person who made a decent one out of a tin can and rubber bands.
