Analog Input on XL1

Is it possible to input analog video into the XL1? And if so, how?

Thank you.

No analog video input on the XL1. You may be able to input it via firewire if you pass the analog video through a converter sucah as the SOny DA2 or a Dazle Hollywood Bridge.

Believe that the new model XL1s has analog vidoe input capability.

You can indeed use an external firewire converter like the Sony box to input "analog" video into the XL1. That's how I do it. The XL1s does have this ability built in, thankfully.

Does anyone know how much these conversion boxes sell for?

Thank you.
