Cineform on more than one machine?

Firstly, I love Cineform, but it seems that I can only run aspect HD on one system. Here at work we have multiple systems that we use for editing, with adobe, and with adobe we can legally run on I think 2 computers, (the other's have my versions of Premiere). So why can't we run Aspect on more that one system? Are we expected to buy a different Aspect for each computer, which seems inefficient considering you can run the editing programs on more than one computer.

Our Aspect HD license, just like Adobe's, supports two installs. Try it.

Thanks David, we must have done something wrong, we'll try again.

Activate the second install as if it was you only install, the activation database will confirm that you have another install available, and with you new system code, it will send you a second activation key.

David, Will this work with Prospect too??

David Newman September 4th, 2007 01:34 PM

No. But we add the second license upon request without charge. Remember officially we are supporting only one seat per license (that is what is being purchased) but we are flexible.

David....I tried activating my Aspect HD on my laptop, per your comments above, and got back an email advising that the serial number had already been activated and would have to be deactivated yadda, yadda. I only have it on one other machine (my desktop), so the laptop would be the second install/activation.

David Newman September 7th, 2007 10:17 PM

That seems wrong. Unfortunately you will need to contact support on Monday to sort it out.

Thanks, David. I've submitted a ticket.
