Just purchased NEO HDV, [Newbie Questions] at DVinfo.net

I really enjoy the speed of my workflow now but I do have a couple of questions/opinions.

1.) How can I enable a video preview in the capture program? Surely I don't have to just watch timecode.

2.) The smart-rendering function seems interesting. But I'm not quite sure how to integrate it in vegas. I captured the video with it checked...then rendered out the raw clip with no effects and it didn't seem any quicker.

3.) Should I always de-interlace with Neo capture or should I do it as my final render in Vegas?
