ProspectHD Mac Premiere Pro CS3
Hi,
I've converted my EX1 clips to Cineform Prospect HD .MOV files in Windows. Now, I want to edit them on my Mac, but after I installed the Mac CFHD Codec, I don't know what project settings to use. My footage is 720 30P square pixles. Also, is there supposed to be a 'red' render line in Premiere? I'm a little unclear on what performance if any Cineform gives you on the Mac side of things. Thanks, Jim |
We don't accelerate Premiere on the Mac. The red markers are the default behavior of Premiere for any third party codec that doesn't have a custom play module. CineForm is mainly for quality and multisystem compatible on the Mac, but more speed is coming.

Project Settings
What project setting do I need to use?
I set something up in 'DESKTOP' mode, will that work? Is that the 'proper' way to do it? I also noticed in the readme.txt that you haven't tested this with the Adobe CS3 products yet and I only see notes for FinalCut Pro. Does this work with PPro CS3? |
