HDLink/Premiere CS3 Audio Buzz

I have a couple of issues with Canon HF10 files converted using HDLink. HDLink crashes trying to convert longer files, and short ones sometimes. Short ones (when they crash) crash randomly, but usually succeed on the second or third try. Long ones (3.4GB and 5.7GB) always crash at some point in the conversion, but the timing of the crash seems random.

Here's my setup:

Camcorder - Canon Vixia HF10, AVCHD at max bitrate. Dolby Digital stereo audio. 1920x1080 video.

Computer - Asus P5Q-E motherboard, Intel Q9550 quad-core CPU @ 2.66GHZ, 4GB RAM, Radeon 4850 video card, striped RAID 0 video drives, Vista Ultimate 32-bit.

Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 and Cineform Prospect HD v3.

The video files are extracted (as m2ts) from the camcorder with software that came with it. Within Adobe Premiere Pro CS3, the HDLink converted files play cleanly in terms of the video, but the audio is a harsh, staccato buzz. The original m2ts files and the converted CFHD files play fine (video and audio) in Windows Media Player and PowerDVD 8 Ultra.

I have a support ticket in with Cineform, but I was wondering if anyone here has seen these problems. The audio problem, of course, makes the clips unusable, but I can't get the longer clips to convert at all.
