cf avi dont open in FC
 

Hi all

I receive a set of takes in CF avi raw from SI2k. I use to work with this normally in FC. This time FC can't load the files. The files in finder are greyed out.

The strange thing is that i can read the files in QT and i can render through compressor.

The camera have the last DVR 1.1

FC 6.0.4
OSX 10.5.6

Final cut read old proyects in CFavi raw without problems

Do you have this issue before?

(What about the feature for rendering CFavi files in remaster?)

No, I have not seen that before. Find a PC or use a windows emulater, and run CineForm Neo HD which can very quickly rewrap AVIs into FCP preferred MOV. This is my recommendation.

Correction about FC version issue
 

I check and i have installed FC 6.0.5 in both machines.

I will try with prospect 4k over bootcamp...
